Mommy & Me | Denver Family Photographer

My favorite thing about our child sessions is surprising mom and getting her involved for some spontaneous photos. Those images are always our favorites. Genuine smiles and laughter between mom and child is the most precious moment. We love capturing love!

So moms. Be prepared to GET IN THE PHOTO. Let’s make some lasting memories together!

Tips For New Moms In A Photo Shoot | Denver Newborn Photography

Newborn Photography

Being a new mom is a tough job. First child or fifth child! Those first few days of their life takes some adjusting for everyone. But we are here to help! Here are our favorite tips on how to prepare for your upcoming newborn photo shoot!

1. Get as much sleep {as you can}.

Easier said than done right?! Hopefully you have your in laws, or siblings or friends in town to help you. A quick cat nap when baby sleeps will also help you feel refreshed and energized for the shoot.

2. Dress for your body.

Do not try something new for your newborn photo shoot! Dress in what you feel comfortable in! It will show through in your photos.

3. Treat yo’ self!

Take a little mommy break and go get your hair, nails or makeup done before your session. Not only will you feel good, you will have a minute to relax before the session as well!

4. Sit up straight.

Sitting up straight will make you look amazing. Leaning forward helps too. All of this will contribute to a photo you can feel good about.

5. Let the photographer do the work!

Let us do the work for you. Sit back, relax and watch us work. We are trained in posing and comforting your newborn. Bringing your partner to your shoot helps as well because we can tag team while you take a much needed and probably rare from here on out break!

There you go! Bring your confidence and your coffee, we will do the rest mama!
